Reservoirs

During the war film was hard to come by, but (as Mum used to tell the story) Dad somehow scored a film of eight shots - the Kodak standard of the day. Mum was rapt, as younger brother Den was new-ish born and hadn't really been snapped anywhere near as much as older brother and me. She assumed a fresh set of snaps of us three boys was at the top of the priority list. But the Mount Bold Reservoir had recently opened and Dad being Dad - well, the first five shots here are all of us boys....

The rest of these snaps are of various reservoirs around Adelaide, but couldn't be sure I could name them with any certainty, but amongst looks like Myponga and Milbrook, and I think the last three are the weirs on the Torrens River
